True old style hardware store. Great plumbing section. Staff who know the trades. Very friendly homeowner and do it yourself there.
Always very nice and knowledgeable staff
Excellent customer service , and wide availability of parts
The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. Kovarik's has just about everything you need!!!
Absolutely the only place to go for anything you may need for any project you’re working on, even (especially) when you have to go back 2-3 times each job because something went wrong or you forgot something ;) Everyone there is so incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to give advice or help with anything you might want. I can’t count the number of times the guys have brainstormed to help me solve a problem I’m having with one project or another. As a single parent with an old home and far more sweat equity than cash flow, this has been invaluable. It’s like being able to have my Dad right here to figure things out with even though my Dad can’t be here to help me figure things out. This is how stores should be, thank you all.
Kovarik hardware is the best. They know their stuff and make it fun. Great company and very professional team. I’m so glad to do business with them.
This hardware store is awesome. What a refreshing difference from the unhelpful big box stores. I was greeted the minute I walked in and was asked how they could help by the most friendly and knowledgeable employees. They helped me out beyond my expectations. Also, this place is huge and they have an incredible selection of practically anything you could want. I highly recommend checking these guys out instead of going to the big box the next time you need anything for your home or garage. You'll be happy you did!

This is THE place. Richard helped me find a solution to an uncommon fitting and it worked like a charm! True professionals with knowledge, friendliness, and a feeling of community. He even offered to order fittings they don't typically stock for the future. So happy to support a local small business, THANK YOU RICHARD THANK YOU KOVARIK!
I go there for for fasteners. I always get personal attention finding what I need.
Jay and his staff are second to none when it comes to service. They have an unmatched assortment of plumbing and are the go to source for Milwaukee and Diablo. Best hardware store in the area
Amazing business very kind people. Pick here over Lowe’s or Home Depot.
Came in with a couple questions, they were so helpful and nice and met me where I was. Which I appreciated so much. Amazing folks.
Really rude cashier was upset that I didn't purchase something from him but I buy everything else from him
I love this hardware store.
Great service was in and out quickly
We had a problem with flies in our kitchen, and as usual, Kovarik's came through! Jay knew his stuff and recommended a few things that might help. Well within hours the flies were no longer flying. By the next day there were no longer any flies alive in our kitchen. So thankful we have an honest business we can turn to.
I had old Price Pfister parts for my tub and they had exactly what I needed. Helpful, knowledge, and fast staff!
These guys are amazing!!..I was looking for a hardware item..for an old shower curtain bracket and was amazed they had one..and helped to get it functional again!.Richard and Chris and entire crew are dedicated, thoughtful and friendly, they go above and beyond for thier customers! Thank you!
Fantastic place that really helps you get what you need. Steve in plumbing was a real help.... 😊
This is a wonderful store and bunch of people. Richard, downstairs in plumbing really took his time fixing an outdoor hose bib for me. Nobody else had the parts and he was very patient , professinal and NICE...hard to find that combination anymore. Don't hesitate to go here if you need parts and or help. Great !!!!
Staff were so helpful and attentive.
Great people They know their business. They're all "can do" people who love helping folks with our projects. Excellent plumbing department Rich n Steve & I, among other patrons, will miss Jeff Edwards, Master Plummer and teacher
They have anything you need for your house or apartment building great prices very friendly associates
You go when it's OBVIOUS that Home Depot and Lowe's have abandon your needs for advice and specialty parts. True Value, as the twelve year olds ask, is exactly the above. It's not just about price. Patronize the closest hardware store auto repair garage, grocery store, home repair guys, lawn mower dudes, create your neighborhood. A sense of community in repeat business that can not be recognized by corporate stores is a two way street that is a relationship...not a number.
Sold me a rebuild kit for a 75 year old tub and shower faucet. No one else could help me find the parts and Kovarik knew exactly what I needed. Gave me great advice and the service was some of the best I’ve ever gotten. Thank you so much!
Always helpful. The guy in plumbing is the best!
Just love this place - rich selection of hardware, and the friendliest service you can imagine. A local institution!
When you can't find what you need in hardware at the big box stores, go here they have everything else plus what the big box stores have. Great store that's been around for a very long time. We should all support local. This is a great family owned store. The money they make doesn't go into a ceos pocket. It goes into the pockets of local hard working people who appreciate your business.
Stopped in to grab a plumbing item I've never been here before but have heard of their reputation. They lived up to it. Super helpful, kind and quickly found the odd little part I needed.
Love this place! Staff is always helpful and friendly
I have been going to this place for years now and I have never been disappointed. They have everything I ever need and the staff are friendly and helpful always. Great place.
I've heard a lot about this place and now that my office near by I had the opportunity to go there to buy a drill bit. It is a nice place. After I got the drill bit I was wandering around and some asked if I needed help. That doesn't happen much at the big places. The drill bit, for the record, was pretty much the same price as the big stores.
Incredible customer service! Very helpful, they have a solution for every problem, or can direct you where to go.
Been a long time customer and always get excellent service
Excellent on time delivery of Ariens snowblower. Friendly and respectful of property. Excellent communication. Highly recommend. Thank you!
They always seem to have what I'm looking for. This is my first go store when I need a new parts for whatever.
This place has it. Doesn't matter what it is, always find it here
